Robot PC + Tablet

The Asus Transformer Eee Pad TF101 is a revolutionary designed mobile computing device. Component highlights include detachable Full size Keyboard and Mousepad Dock with extra battery and ports, nVidia Tegra2 1GHz processor, 1Gb RAM, 16Gb Hard Disk Drive, Android 3.0 and a 10.1 inch WSVGA HD screen, with 1.2 MP front and 5 MP rear cameras.
Switch from notebook Mode to Tablet Mode with a screen which docks into the keyboard and can be released when you want the tablet truly portable.

It makes the Top 10 Tablet PC Site due to its versatility, allowing one device to act as two distinct mobile PCs; and settle the dilemma for those who can’t decide whether to get a netbook or tablet.
The Transformer TF101 Tablet Netbook is somewhat a novelty, but a nice novelty and why not? You might not always need the keyboard and mouse pad while basically presenting and displaying information.

This cuts the weight on your travels, while still allowing you to do some serious computing back at home or the office
The TF101 notebook mode allows for full sized QWERTY keyboard and additional Android function keys, and touch pad.

You might think, why not get a wireless keyboard for your tablet, download the supporting software and you get the same effect? Also this would allow you to place the tablet a little further from the top of the keyboard. Asus may think about this for the next Transformer model, by making the keyboard dock a wireless option.
However, you get an extra 2 USB 2.0 ports on the dock, SD Card Reader, a 40 pin connector for Data Sync and most importantly without a physical connection to the dock, extended battery life for 16 hours would not be possible.

The only thing with this Asus, despite the full features, the great HD screen and responsive touchscreen navigation – is that you are paying more for the novelty, and the internal components might have been upspecced.
